Eyelash extensions will last 2 to 4 weeks on average. It's completely normal to lose a few lashes a day as natural lashes progress through the hair growth cycle. According to our research, most people prefer to book refills every 3 weeks (60.1%) to maintain a full line of lashes. If you are a new customer who just had a full set, we strongly recommend that you refill it after 3 weeks, however, some customers will refill it after 4 weeks. It can also cause problems with the consultation, since it can take up to half an hour for the eyelash artist to remove this build-up, which can affect subsequent appointments, since the eyelashes must be completely free of makeup and clean before a full series or filler.
As the extensions grow, the point where the extension attaches to the natural eyelashes weakens. This is what a classic pair of lashes should look like four to five weeks after the initial consultation, but if the eyelashes appear to be very sparse after just a few days, there may be an underlying problem.
